The bathroom cleaningness was dreadful, with a shower roof covered in mold. Absurdly, there was no hot water too. I nearly gave a glowing review, but when I asked for a complimentary gesture after such inconveniences, i was met with blank stares.

Good stay, as always. Excellant and absolutely great hotel located just off the terminal as well as the Zocalo where there was dancing. An a nice size room provided with air conditioner and balcony and TV. A great selection of goodies for breakfast.

The room arrangement is awkward, especially with bathrooms on different levels!!! The air conditioning struggles, and the hot water situation is unreliable!!! The overall upkeep and modernization are desperately needed to enhance guest experience!!!

The location is almost too good because you are
So close to the plaza the music pours into your room. We enjoyed our balcony room's brightness and charm. The first night's interior room was quiet. A good stay!

Charming location but needs updates
The beautiful old architecture enveloped me in history, and I felt welcomed each time I entered the lobby. The surprise indoor pool was a good bonus!
The room I initially received was disappointing. It had an outdated bathroom and the air conditioning barely worked, leading to an uncomfortable night.

The ambiance was good, with charming decor and an unexpectedly nice indoor pool. Enjoyed homemade muffins for breakfast just a short walk away, a great way to start the day. No hot water was another disappointment that dampened my experience.

The imperial is beautifully situated right on the zocalo. I loved the warm indoor pool and the gym too!
however, my room showed some signs of age.

Recommend it for couples looking for charm
The location is unbeatable, right near the central plaza, so you can easily enjoy the lively atmosphere. I found it good to have a beer outside while soaking up the music and watching the crowd. Plus, the breakfast was delicious and gave us the energy needed for explorations.
It wasn't the most inexpensive option, but the experience was worth it.

Great place with its free wi-fi, air conditioning, and 24-hour reception. I still remember how the staff helped me find a lost jewel on my first stay. Highly recommend it for a comfortable experience!

I really enjoyed my stay. the breakfast at Cafe el Alba was simply delicious, and I loved people-watching from my balcony room overlooking the plaza, though the noise after 10 PM was a bit much. I might consider staying again but wasn't a fan of having to climb stairs for the bathroom!
